Rules & Regulations

  • The school timing is from 8.45 am to 3.15 pm.
  • Students  should be in the school before 9 am.  The school gate will be closed for vehicles by 9 am.
  • Respect to elders, courteous behaviour, kindness towards the old, the infirm, the less fortunate and animals is  encouraged and appreciated in our school.
  • Conduct and behaviour of a student here is closely monitored at all times.
  • Our students are expected to be courteous and polite to all teachers, staff and fellow-students.
  • Speaking in English is compulsory in school at all times.
  • Students shall not wander in and around the campus or be seen crowing the corridors.
  • No student is permitted in another classroom without the prior permission of the class teacher.
  • Immoral behaviour, dishonesty, theft and such unsavory practices shall be very sternly dealt with and the student dismissed from school.

  •  Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities at all times, in maintaining highest standards in academic and co-curricular activities.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school in maintaining decorum and the dignity of the institution.
  • Parents must go through the contents of this diary carefully to acquaint themselves with the norms of the Bhavan.
  •  Good table manners must be observed during lunch time. Non-vegetarian food is a strict taboo in school.  We expect parents to take special note of this.
  •  Absenteeism, late-coming, in-complete uniform etc will be considered misdemeanour, parents are advised to take special care.
  • The normal quarantine period for illnesses like Chickenpox, mumps, measles, jaundice etc. is two weeks.  The student has to produce a medically fit certificate before attending school again. In case of conjunctivitis and viral flu, the student is advised to rest at home for a week / until fully recovered.


  • School buses are available for conveying students to and from various important points with in the town and outside. However, this facility cannot be claimed by any student as a matter of right and the facility has to be renewed annually. 
  • Parents are requested to take full responsibility for the collection of their children from the bus stop on the return trip. 
  • In order to ensure the safety of our children in the school bus we need your co-operation and support. Please instruct the children to be seated in the bus at all times and stand only when the bus comes to a halt. 
  • They need to wait for the bus to come to a halt before boarding and deboarding. 

  • All boys must wear white vests and girls a white slip, under their uniform.
  • Nails should be neatly trimmed and will be checked every Monday morning by the class teacher. Boys should have their hair-cut every month.  They are not permitted to grow a beard / side burns etc.
  • All lunch / snack box must be accompanied with a clean napkin/towel.
  • Black sandak sandals are permitted as rainy-day, foot wear.
  • Long hair must be neatly plaited in two and secured with blue ribbons.
  • The school belt is compulsory for all.
  • All personal belongings should be neatly marked and labelled.  The shall not bear any responsibility for the loss of personal articles. 
  • Gold ornaments, expensive watches, etc..should not be worn to school.  Parents are also discouraged from purchasing expensive school bags / lunch boxes / pencil boxes etc.. to avoid ill-feeling amongst children.
  • Students should keep the school premises and class rooms neat and tidy.  Any damage caused to school property must be made good by the concerned parent.
  • Be eco-friendly, and discard the use of plastic carry-bags to school.
